For the 50th Reunion

Fellow classmate Winston Tharp sent me a notice of the Reunion that is planned for this year. He noticed my placement as "missing"! Unfortunatly I am unable to attend. However, I have enjoyed the various photos, letters and video's from the web site.
I Recall that we were close to many of our classmates as we moved thur the Public School System. You could have met someone in Grammer School and attended school with them thru Jr. High and HS. Something rare today. Not only did we know each other but our parent knew all of the other parents as well. What a great support network and sence of community.
I Live now in Davidson, NC being on the east coast most of the time. Davidson College is located here and Davidson NC has evolved as a "bedroom" community of Charlotte NC. It has a large lake nearby Lake Norman where we sail and enjoy the warmer months of the year.
I Believe we were all fortunate to attend a great HS that provided focus and direction for our future lives.
I Have enclosed a Photo of my wife Olivia and me taken last year on a trip to California. I have a daughter Elizabeth Bearden Professor at University of Maryland; College Park and Olvia has a son Jay Elders who is involved in Fund Raising in Scottsdale AZ both are Married and we have a granddaugter.
